Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe. Card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes are collected and held by Stripe and never touch our servers. When you buy a physical product, we recall your name and shipping address from Stripe at the time of fulfilment.

What we keep

To issue or renew a Vigil licence, we store your name and email address on the licence. Order records stored on our side hold only a Stripe session reference and the licence the order relates to — no payment details and no shipping address.

Vigil devices report a derived, non-identifying device identifier, a version, and — only if you opt in — a hostname. The raw hardware value is never transmitted.

When you send a message, we use your name and email to respond. We do not add you to a mailing list.
